Pittsburgh Indoor Sprints 1/28/12
An indoor start to the rowing season led to a successful day of erging at the North Catholic High School right here in Pittsburgh, PA. Our novice rowers got a taste of what an erging competition feels like, and the varsity team had a great time battling other schools on the machines. For the second year in a row one of our teams grabbed first place in the mixed team relay! Hopefully next year we can keep the winning streak going!

Our first taste of the Spring weather was welcomed with temperatures finally above the 50s and a 3rd place finish overall from the Novice 8. Fairfax, VA is always home to a beautiful regatta and this year was no different.
Despite frigid temperatures and zero water practice leading up to our first cup race, the Novice 4 placed first in their heat to advance to finals. See you in six weeks, Philadelphia.
